We are your Canadian source for nearly all things related to the upgrading, repair, and modification of guitar and tube amplification.  We specialize in guitar tube amp repairs and upgrades, as well as effects pedal mods.

Located in Barrie, Ontario (about 90km north of Toronto), our workmanship is top shelf and completely guaranteed.

My name is Brett Pearson and welcome to Pearson amplification. I have long had a love for guitars and tube amplifiers but found myself frustrated by the high prices of vintage tube amps and even mediocre, pc board tube amps. I have spent many years teaching myself how to repair tube related equipment.  I've also had years of training with a wonderful gentleman who has shown me the finer points of tube circuitry.  While I do not profess to know everything tube or to know the secret to that ' tone from the gods', what  I can offer you is excellent sounding tube amps and effect pedal modifications that cost a fraction of what the big players charge.  If you have any questions or requests that aren't found on these pages, please don't hesitate to drop me a line.

The mod for the DS1 works the best on the Tele in the fat setting... I can get the exact same sound as Duane Allman on Stormy Monday Blues (I mean exact). It is great. - B.M. Owen Sound
